Ivy and the Poison in development for Inaugural Tour;Bringing Raw Emo-Punk Cabaret to New Audiences

Written by:

Following a series of sold-out performances in New York and Tel Aviv, the critically acclaimed one-woman emo-punk cabaret Ivy and the Poison is thrilled to announce its first official tour.

Created and performed by multidisciplinary artist, Netta Toledano, the show fuses music, storytelling, and theatrical flair into a unique, genre-bending experience that explores themes of toxic love, abuse, and redemption.

The show, which began as a deeply personal act of survival for Toledano, transforms her experience with a sociopathic relationship into a powerful, cathartic rock concert. Drawing inspiration from iconic works like Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, Ivy and the Poison blurs the line between theater and live music.

Audiences arrive for a rock show and are instead immersed in a fully scripted narrative fueled by raw, honest songs with titles like “I Wanna Fuck My Roommate” and “I Hope You Choke.”

The tour will feature an explosive score blending emo, punk, grunge, and pop-punk, backed by a powerhouse band with impressive credentials. The band includes lead guitarist Nick Rimanic (The Addams Family North American Tour), rhythm guitarist and musical director Mark Klett (Trans-Siberian Orchestra), bassist Skyler Volpe (Sing Street on Broadway), and drummer Riccardo Belletta.
